The last time i went drinking in Cas was during the late 80's and i'm sure there were more night clubs. Castleford had quite a reputation back then. I remember Cas Lasses being VERY friendly and the Lads being heathens! There were always lots of fights with Lads from other towns and villages like Ponte, Airdale, Streethouse, Fev, Notla and Wakey. In fact my last visit to 'Classy Cas' on a Friday night ended in the back of an ambulance being rushed to Pinderfields hospital for stitches in my head. Ahh, the good old days eh, tha can't beat 'em can tha?
