A Conversation for Fads

Heres a little experiment to try. Its a well known fact that these fads come back into fashion at least once. that is usually when someone remembers them many years after they were forgotten and decides that it would be cool if they were still around - or better still if they had done something they didn't do the first time round (eg when the caveman invented the yoyo for bashing off the head of his next meal it didn't glow in the dark, light up, make a noise (other than perhaps the noise of shock, disbelief and anger emitted from the poor animal that was unlucky enough to cross the cavemans path)or come in the fetching shade of neon plastic of your choice).
anyway, on to the point. I think that anyone who reads this should choose a particular fad from their childhood to re-enstate (my personal choice is the space hopper). Ofcourse the first task is to get hold of your chosen object which depending on your choice could prove difficult. (items such as the skipping rope shouldnt prove much of a challenge but things like those things that i cant remember the name of - you put them round your ankle and kind of swung your leg round and jumped over it and a little device on the end counted how many times you had skipped over it narrowly avoiding serious injury - they could be a challenge). I reccommend car boot sales. I would also suggest that your object of choice be as far fetched as possible to add to the feeling of accomplishment when it comes back into "Fashion". Another suggestion would be to make a cool adaption to it and patent it so you can make loads of cash when it comes back in.

I'm gonna bring back the Converse. Y'know, those high-top (I wear the low-top) sneakers with the encircled 'Converse' brand at the side? With the white rubber toes? They were big back in circa early 90's. Ideal for moshing, skateboarding, breakdancing, and lazy walking (though I don't do any of these except for the last one).

Hey, when did converse go out of fashion? I'm so out of touch. I think i'll bring back the pudding bowl haircut... no wait, that would mean i would actually have to get that haircut - right? So on second thoughts i would like to re-instate the klackers. Those flourescent, noisy, childs game.

You have all got it so wrong!!

Everyone knows that in order to do a fad properly you must be wearing one of those classic knitted wristbands of the 80s!!
