A farmer of my father's aquaintance was rather astonished to receive one day a PCN for his combine harvester. He made further enquiry and found that his vehicle was allegedly illegally parked outside Harrods in London. After several weeks in dispute with the sceptical authorities, the charge was lifted after he pointed out that at the combine harvester's maximum speed it would take him some three days to travel from his farm in Dorset to central London. Hmmm....

It does sound strange. Perhaps a case of 'cloned' plates as mentioned in the Entry?
