A Conversation for Divorce
Mental Cruelty

I wish I could remember who this happened to, but here goes.
Some years ago a British actor (it may have been Cary Grant), living in the USA, was married to an American. The actor wished to move back to England, but his wife didn't and sued for divorce. The divorce was granted on the grounds of mental cruelty.
Personally, I would regard it as mental cruelty if my husband asked me to live in New York or L.A. Apologies to anyone who lives there, but I'm English and neither city looks particulary inviting on screen. Both have probably got some really nice areas, but we never get to see them!
