A Conversation for Divorce
effects of moralism

Life without morality isn't life anymore of course.
But moralism is another "life" .
I was once married with a very moralistitic person; "rules are rules".
It became very clear to me, that after ten years she wanted to divorce. Might have been a good choice for her.
But she didn't.
Rules are rules, you know.
Instead of divorce, she decided to ignore me as much as possible. For six years in a row.
If you categorally don't allow yourself to divorce physically, then you'll do it emotionally.....
Untill I finally made that decision. For all of us, including my four daughters.
"Well dad", they say,"we lost a familylife, but we gained a real, living, colourfull father".
