A Conversation for 'Bergerac' - the TV Series

I sometimes wonder where television and films would be without mobile phones and all other technology we now take for granted.Bergerac ran from 1981 to 1991 and contained some nice early examples of this.
An early episode had Jonathan Adams as a pathologist dictating his autopsy notes to a hand held cassette player (approx. 4" x 8").Compare this to Scully in the X Files.
In the episode Trenchard's Last case, from 1989,a character had a mobile phone the size of a house brick.
Has anyone spotted any other examples?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
