Marwel: a history
Mark.
Male, born in 1962,and thus a little older than Dr Who.
In my youth I wanted to be The Saint,Dr Who and James Bond.So first I became an actor.I could have been the first Bond who was under 6ft,chubby and not stunningly handsome. But it was not to be.
Later I became a bookseller.
Now I am a father.I have two fantastic daughters.
I also have Collections: Books, huge;Videos, slightly smaller;DVDs,growing;Action figures, trying to be selective.
Having rediscovered him on the net I purchased a Major Matt Mason,Mattel's Man In Space,on ebay.I had one as a child and it was tucked away at the back of my mind but not in my loft with my Action Men.Sadly I became an ebay addict and found myself bidding on Action Man items.I decided I had to take control back. But before I could I found Tetris.I cured me of ebay, but at a cost.
Books have always been a passion.I have read mostly fiction and across a lot of genres.Very few classics.A smattering of literary fiction.Detective and spy fiction have always been more to my taste. The about seven years ago I started to read fantasy and a little science fiction.I had read some over the years but this was when I found a real affinity for it.
