Have you heard of the 'Knitters of Dent'? It's a place in N. Yorkshire. Nice village, narrow cobbled streets, decent olde hostelries. Bit touristy these days I'd imagine.

In Dent you can find sepia prints of women knitting outside their cottage doors. Dent's claim to fame! Perhaps they don't do it any more?
About films ... yes it would be a good scenic location come to think of it.

Great day in the mountains today; Valdevera and Vinokourov eyeball to eyeball on the 21 kms climb in the rain and mist! Two more mountain stages to go. Who will crack?

Vino's ed enough to get there, he got a lot of anger bottled up, but it's Valverde's home race

Well after 2 days of constant attacking he finally dropped him on the last climb. Yes, Vino's day today! If at first you don't etc. ....! But there's only 9 seconds in it. The last mountain tomorrow is it?

A real gentleman is Vino. He let one of his hardworking Kazak teammates take the mountain top victory today thereby sacrificing the winner's time bonus! I can't imagine Ullrich doing that at T-Mobile can you?

The T-Mobile team was built around Ullich's bid to win the Tour de France, as was CSC and Discovery for Basso and Armstrong

I think they would have had better luck building the T-Mobile team around Vino and getting Jan to do the donkey work.

T-Mobile did very well without Ullrich this year, Kesslar winning a stage, Rodgers doing will in the GC, Kloden coming second

They've given Vino a golden bike to ride the final stage. Hope he doesn't fall off.

Sadly I'll miss the World Championship next weekend as I have to go to Czech Republic. Only consolation is I know a great pub-brewery in Brno!
