Yes ... the brief (and gory) reign of Mary and Phillip (from Spain). After Henry VIII's son (Ed VI) karked it, Mary re-introduced the Catholic religion (the "Marian Reformation") and tried to do away with anyone who disagreed. Followed shortly by Liz I, who (it has to be said) was equally violent in restoring the C of E.
Arguably, founding CRGS was the one decent thing that Mary did ...
