Welcome one and all to the world of Clairybell
I'm at university for the next four weeks or so, then it's off into the big wide world with a Ba (Hons) in Philosophy from the University of Durham. For the last three years I've studied the works of such illuminaries as Immanuel Kant, David Hume, Sigmund Freud (I wrote my undergraduate dissertation on The Interpretation of Dreams), Jean-Paul Sartre, Soren Kierkegaard, and many others.

University is a wonderful place, but I haven't always been there. I come from Waterside, a tiny village in East Lancashire (just south of Blackburn) and I love my home. If you were to ask me to describe my village, I'd respond with, "It's not so much a Midsomer Worthy as a Royston Vasey." I went to school at Darwen Moorland High School, one of the roughest comprehensives you've ever clapped eyes on, and did my A-levels at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, which I loved. CRGS is one of a dying breed of state grammar schools, and it has the largest all A-level sixth form in the country. My year ruled that school; we did a lot for it and got a lot from it, and I'm very glad that I went there. To find out more about CRGS go to entry
Clitheroe Royal Grammar School.I love music of all genres except organ, and I love to act but don't do quite enough of it any more. I have tutored A-level French, I live for the moment in Gilesgate, and I value friendship over most things.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
