A Conversation for Triolets

Yeah. Sounds a lot like Marvin, though he wouldn't be bothered to use a keyboard I think.

A trivial triolet
Has nothing to do,
But get lost on its way.
A trivial triolet
Has nothing to say,
That will not bore you.
A trivial triolet
Has nothing to say.

Things and Fords Towel and Wotchit, great triolets!
I went out last night
to photograph stars.
Conditions were right
to phtograph stars.
They weren't very bright
but I think I saw Mars.
I went out last night
to photograph stars.

I suppose it did sound a bit like our PA friend. It was actually about my morning :|
Still, the rest of the day worked out pretty good
I suppose Marvin might consider a keyboard, if no other access were available; but, more likely, he'd just compose a personal dirge to while away the millenia.
Thanks for the reply!

I like the poem, but you missed the rhyming scheme. Line 1 is repeated on line 4.

Thanks for the encouragement.
They're kind fun; but, as Deep Thought once put it, "Tricky".

Nothing--
A triolet on nothing
is quite hard to compose.
It should be no big thing,
a triolet on nothing,
Eight lines of rhyming,
one would suppose.
A triolet on nothing
is quite hard to compose.

I want to eat cheese
But I'll put on some weight
I'm begging you please
I want to eat cheese
I'm down on my knees
Isn't that great?
I want to eat cheese
But I'll put on some weight

Bored out of my mind
by meaningless tasks
best left behind
Bored out of my mind
I should have declined
when somebody asks
Bored out of my mind
by meaningless tasks
*sighs and looks out through office window at a beautiful sunny day*

Who can work on a day like today?
The day is warm, the sky is blue
Who cares what the boss will say?
Who can work on a day like today?
More days will come like this, I pray
Tomorrow could the same it is true
Who can work on a day like today?
The day is warm, the sky is blue

Thunder and flash
and dark clouds
Magnificent crash
Thunder and flash
Lightning dash
Sky in shrouds
Thunder and flash
and dark clouds

Am I too late to join in?
I need a vocation
My present job bores
But first, a vacation
I need a vocation
Fulfillment, not chores
Will bring me elation
I need a vocation
My present job bores

Darn, got my rhyming scheme switched round on the 5th & 6th lines.
Back to the drawing board...

I'm brushing my hair
Standing by my sink
Wondering what to wear
I'm brushing my hair
This I can't bear
It's too early to think
I'm brushing my hair
Standing by my sink
Well, it's trivial, and that was rather fun. Much love, Jen.

Yay! Another trioletter (triolete? perhaps a new Olympic sport)
Rain is wet:
There's no drought,
I would bet.
Rain is wet -
Wet, I'll get
When I'm out;
Rain is wet
There's no drought.
Actually I think trioleteer (like charioteer) is probably the best bet...

The drought is severe
In the desert southwest.
It's dusty and sere
In the desert southwest.
We've emptied the weir
And we're very depressed.
The drought is severe
In the desert southwest.

The weather is grey
Unusually warm
I long far away
The weather is grey
A dull and dark day
Last night saw a storm
The weather is grey
Unusually warm
