Of course the death of Alexander the Great is shrouded in mystery. There are (as always) rumours that the fever was induced by poison - and he had been at a particularly wild party the night before he fell ill. But he was certainly a real wild child - it's just surprising he didn't come a cropper before!

Well, to quote John Goodman in 'The Big Lebowski': I did not know that.. I wonder how Alexander the Great's life would have turned out had he owned a Porsche.
