Non-suet dumplings

For anyone that isn't keen on suet.
My boyfriend doesn't like recipes that use suet as he finds it too stodgy. I read a really good tip a while back for replacing suet. You can use the same amount of frozen, grated butter instead.
I've used this in dumplings and in syrup pudding and it works really well. My fella definitely prefers it.

Thankyou for the great tip about using butter instead of suet,I tried it when I used the veg stew recipe and it definitely works!! Thanks again Best Wishes Sibford x
