My apologies for the paragraph headed 'Library Staff':
"The bane of existence, only to be tolerated because otherwise books are completely inaccessible? Personal slaves who will hump to your every whim? Fun-loving crazy people? Machines built only to shush? Whatever you may think of the library staff, you'll end up having to relate to them at some point."
The second sentence should of course be 'Personal slaves who will jump to your every whim?' I did spot it, but 
too late! On behalf of librarians as a species, I'd like to state that we are not (as a rule) quite as sex-crazed as this might suggest...

I quite liked the typo in the section about the importance of checking spellings. T S Eliot's poem is called 'The Waste Land', and not 'The Wasteland'. I don't normally point this sort of thing out because it is arsey, but here I thought it was moderately ironic.
But I am feeling like that today because of too much Electric Six last night.

Fixed those.
I should have spotted the Eliot one a mile away. he's one of my faveourite poets (despite being a despicable man).

The Eliot one was obviously deliberate (he says, lying through his teeth) - it just goes to show that librarians aren't infallible and won't necessarily know if you've spelt something wrong!
