Just for your information (and others, obviously) there are different varieties of veggie dogs. The differences are for different cooking methods (boiled or steam, grilled, etc.)

I eat them all the time and find them better than the originals I gave up after visiting a meat packin plant years ago.

I'm not a bit fan of the Yves veggie dogs. I tried them out when I stopped eating meat five months ago and, for me, it was a really unpleasant experience. However, I do like the Boca brand sausages, which come in Italian and Smoked varieties and I find them very good. They're great on bread with mustard.

Oh, Boca is better if you want sausages, I agree. The hotdogs are for hotdog fans, definitely. Also, did you cook them according to the type? I found that the grilled ones needed to be grilled and the *boil* ones must be boiled or steamed.

I have been a veggie for 15 years and have tried many brands of both hotdogs and burgers and the best hotdog i have had is (IMO only so this is not an advert so please dont mod me ) Tivoli ones.
They are not as 'chewy/rubbery' as some can be and have that soft smokey taste that i like.

IMO is getting increasingly difficult to prove, especially with soy.
I have heard of Tivoli, but I stand by Yves, especially their sausage patties which make fantastic sausage rolls (I add thick onion gravy and use filo pastry for the crust).

Certainly, although I suspect it might turn into a science project by the time the mails brought it to you.
If you do eventually find Yves (the site will show where it is available), try the Deli slices, especially the Salami. Also the *chicken* nuggets are especially good, with chips, etc.. Must go now, mouth watering.

I've had the Yves turkey and it's good with cheese and crackers. I'm going to be trying out the salami in the next few days...Yummmmmm.
