The first radishes have appeared as well as 8 pea plants and 8 sweet peas. I just have to get the trellis up now and we can have sweet peas everywhere. Might hang the baskets up today as there is no wind. Even the frost we had didn't kilol the plants off so they must be hardy enough.

Did loads in the garden today. I have got the vege patch up and running (JTG would be very proud of me). We now have peas, raspberries, blackcurrants, blackberries, lollo rosso, radishes, spring onions, hazelnuts, apples and cherries and today I added the strawberries. Not bad for a small city garden. I also planted most of 140 plants in pots and containers. Tomorrow I have to go out and buy more compost so that I can finish off the last five. I even managed to plant up the hanging baskets.
Spent this evening doing my favourite thing - sitting in the garden with Doug eating dinner, drinking wine and just chatting. Even talking about the war didn't mar the evening.

Okay so I was going to write a happy journal entry for once but I had a pants day at work so I can't. Had a good eveing with Doug though as he cooked dinner and fed me wine so I cheered up! I like being married.
