You can call me TC Posted Nov 20, 2011
Thanks so much for letting us know. I think about you a lot - even though we've never even met in real life. Savour every minute. Write it down, film it, record it. Ickle Skanky - or Skankette - has lots of love and goodwill coming his/her way.

Thanks for the news Rich. If you plan to be in at the finish so to speak, don't take any notice of medical advice that 'nothing is going to happen for hours - go home and have a break'
SS stayed with me all day until 7:00pm and followed above advice, driving 30 miles home; only to be phoned as he got in the door to tell him our Daughter had been born at 7:30pm

Before we start betting on the time, is it true that babies usually arrive during the night?

Son was born at 5 to 5 (on a Friday, earning the nickname "Crackerjack"), and daughter at 9.30 pm.

Highly amused that you guys want to start a book
Here are the vital facts, then:
Baby Skanky (hereafter known as 'Thor') was estimated at being 6lb 6oz ten days ago. His/her due date is 9th December. I was born at 6.45pm whereas Mrs B was born at about 4pm (during the Grand National, in fact). Mrs B is one of three sisters; I have one brother, and five of the six children in my generation of the family were male. Of the last six births in our immediate family, however, five are girls.

Planned sections are carried out during the day, so more births happen then.
Otherwise I think it's fairly even.
I'm going for the 14th of December, at 1845 and a weight of 8lbs 4ozs.

You're both miles away
Mrs B will be induced on Tuesday (a day earlier than planned) if there's no sign or Thor by then.

She is going to need all the strength love gives.
Everything is going to be alright.
