I would welcome some community prayers/positive thoughts, for my wonderful, beloved Brother-in-Law - who is in great need right now!
GEC had a couple of rather major strokes a few years ago; and although he recovered most of his faculties, my Sister has had to watch him very carefully.
He has had stomach pains for almost a year - which turn out to be gall-stones; but on Thursday, he looked so ill my Sister insisted on calling out the Doc. The dear man was swiftly taken to the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary; where it transpires he also had a kidney infection - this has now become pnuemonia; and to cap it all - last night he had a heart attack.
We are all absolutely gutted. I was so young when my Sister met GEC, that I feel I have known him for always. The most caring man who I have never had a cross word with for over 50 years and I truly love him to bits

Oh, Scorp,
I am so very sorry. I do hope he makes a good recovery and doesn't suffer too much. It is dreadful that such a nice person has to go through so much.
Thoughts and prayers with you always. Keep us posted.
A big and in the meantime.

He seems to be holding his own thanks,(if you'll pardon the expression). The gall stone has had to go on the back burner because the surgeon says his heart will probably not stand up to the op at the moment. All in all, they seem to have got things stable; although his liver and kidneys are both iffy.
Thanks for your concerns

Scorp,
I don't know if I have missed anything, but I thought I would ask how your brother-in-law is these days? You don't appear to have mentioned him for a while.

Just saw this, hope he is holding or better.
What a painful and confusing time it must have been, scary for his loved ones too.
