The moment when I have to disconnect my PC, to allow for the fitting of a new lounge carpet; due to some moron from the gas appliance maintenance company having burned a hole in the original

My kitchen is currently full of things like televisions, videos, welsh dressers, three piece suite etc; and where this is going to go for the next few hours is anybody's guess

Whether or not it works again upon reconnection remains to be seen, so fingers crossed please until/if we meet again.

Thank for that. All I have to do now is put the furniture back - Lord does my head hurt.

Hope your head is better now. These upheavals are most unsettling aren't they? I used to take it in my stride, but now it seems such a nuisance.

The trouble is I have accumulated so much stuff over the years my friends tell me the house is like a . PHM asked me some months ago what he was expected to do with all this 'stuff' if I died? I told him he could enjoy himself doing what the he liked!! I have never known anyone travel so light through life as he does.

Webbie, my dad originated from Staffs', but he was a miser(learnt off us)"put it in the shed!it could come in handy". After he died and we cleared the shed out(alladin's cave)there was even a exhaust pipe for a renault dophine(spelling)the second car we ever had, from the 60's

As for a yorkshire thing....we are both terrible for collecting "stuff".My daughter's thoughts on the matter ...if you haven't needed it ONCE in the past year.....throw it away!!!But we mught need it!!!!!
