I have just unsuscribed from more than 4 years of conversation, and I am going to empty my friends list in a moment.
That way I can have a new start here.
Whoever wants still to be in contact is welcome to write to me (and chances are high that after a while the friends list will be filled - but right now that is a way to see who is really interested)
I hope not to insult anyone with these actions, but I think a fresh start is just the right thing to do.....

New Beginnings! 
A while back I began to remove names of those thought 'long gone', but no sooner was I doing that, they began to return 
Now I'm trying to keep up with the returnees!

I like keeping old stuff for old times' sake.
But I would like to be on your new list, please, Matodemi.
Be warned - some of us are doing a daily journal in November. Everyone with whom you are friends will appear daily with a new conversation. Most people will mark them as part of the Daily Journal Project, but skipping over them because of that might mean you miss some interesting and amusing stuff.

ah, don't worry TC - who is writing to me now is getting back on the list.
And as long as I don't follow anyone I won't get overwhelmed with unread postings (so I have to say I am sorry, but I am not following anyone yet - not being on the computer it is too much backlog to catch up with, but I might *beep* into one or the other conversation)
And Malabarista: that was exactly the reason I deleted the friends list (and conversation list): too many and too much that was simply taking up space....

there are a lot of people I have met in my life, some will be remembered, some forgotten - but keeping the names on a list doesn't help much (for me)
