Why am I so happy?

I finally managed to get a job. Part time, but well paid and with a high probability that I will have to work more hours from some time next year.

After a long while of looking for a job this is simply great.

And not only that I got this job (which itself is just wow) - it is a job I love in a kind of business I really like.

So please help yourself to some

Yes Bel, it was that job.
And first I thought that they had invited more or less the most promising canditates, but obviously they had hoped I would agree to everything (and it is more than convenient - even if working only mornings would have been even better, but it is no problem to work 3 afternoons).

Prof - now it is time my guardian angel I sent to you did his job as well

here's to a good start. So - when do you start?

I will start on the 1st of October

so I am just thinking how much holidays I am going to take before that (in fact I have only about 2 days left, calculating I leave a month earlier than this scheme goes, but I know my boss is nice and will let me leave earlier, so I just have to calculated how much I need - and with how much I can do without - in this 1-Euro-scheme we are entitled to holidays, but they are unpaid)

Happiness is ...

Today was my first day on the new job.
And within the first 5 minutes they told me that they would like me to work fulltime - and not only as office clerk but actually doing the forwarders job (something I have done more than 20 years ago).

I am waiting now what my kids say - my eldest said yes, the others are not at home yet.

That is good news, even though I was looking forward to some relaxing time in the near future.
