Thank you everyone, I am here at last and so happy. I have been extremely busy but have still missed h2g2, even more than I thought I would. I have made some good friends here.
Thank you to everyone who has done such stalwart work to get this up and running for us, and good luck for future months as we move on.
Please know how grateful us ordinary mortals are for your dedication.

Hiya Webby, tis me. Good to see you made it.

Hope all is well with you.

Yipppeeeeeeeeeeeee! You made it
My main problem is finding 'my heart is still thumping'. When I look for earlier conversations, I get thrown out and am asked to sign in again. Ah Well! Doubtless all will be well with the fullness of time.
If you can find time to post on your thread, I shall not have an issue, 'cos it will be up with the other most recent posts.
Scorp (in case my name is not at the top of the post)

It's great to see you!
Scorp, that happened to me, too. I think they are trying to fix all the wee glitches.

Hi WS good to see you here again.
I just got back myself yesterday, after 40 minutes of trying, but I made it

Hello and thanks everyone. Hope you have found my badger thread. I did what you asked Scorp, and I will try and write something soon but what with my birthday and house renovations and stuff I feel like a hamster in a wheel I can't get off.
Being back on h2g2 and signed up for another year with Flickr (pressie) has given me a real boost
Love it,

Hi ITIWBS!
Not good at doing links; but if you either look up 'my heart is still thumping' that is what the badger thread is. Alternatively you can look at my PS conversations; and it will be near the top.

ITIWBS! Another idea, if you scroll back through the postings on the badger thread, you will find that any postings by Webbie which contain notice of badgers, she will have put a link to her public viewing on Flickr. The badger videos and absolutely wonderful.
Scorp.

ITIWBS Posted Oct 20, 2011
On links, I'm using the Firefox web browser, bring up two iterations of the Firefox web browser, bring up the link I want on one of them, drag and drop the link from the URL bar heading (extreme left of the URL bar, which displays the web address) on the first browser to the box in which I'm going to post, holding down the left click button on the mouse or mouse-pad until the the cursor is positioned where I want the link, and then simply let go.
If you get the screen brought up by the link instead of simply the link, use the back arrow to bring up the prior screen (or activate the appropriate tab), refresh and try again.
This only works between two iterations of the same web browser, won't work between different web browsers. Firefox is good that way since it allows up to 24 iterations on separate topics.
Also helps with h2g2 if you hit the enter key to bring the line on which the link will post down at least three lines from the last line of your text before moving to drag the link from the other iteration of the web browser. You can make adjustments in spacing afterward.
Sounds complicated, but is very simple and easy.

All that seems complicated to me, all I have to do is click the new "sing in" link that appears on the top left corner, and Hey! I'm in.
Smudger.
