The eyes of Vor is another name I can think of. The idea being the fingernails are the all seeing eyes of Vor/ Satan depending on which version you like better.

It's not. They're basically the same thing except Vor comes from I think it's either Viking or Saxon Origions. Satan is a christian teaching. Yet I'm pretty sure Satan isn't described in the bible. It's moer likely they're reffering to one of the beasts from the revelation. But I don't know.

Blackberry Cat , if one wishes to remain an individual in the midst of the teeming multitudes, one must make oneself grotesque Posted Oct 6, 2004
except pagans didn't really have an equivilent to the devil
Satan is mentioned but originally hes an angel who has the job of tempting people, only with Christianity that he and Lucifer come to be the same person I think

Lucifer and Satan aren't/ weren't the same person, neither is Beelzebub. They are all different fallen angels with different jobs.

To be completly honest no.
Unless you got it by paragliding off a cliff to stop the evil bald guy fly awy in his helicopter when suddenly the mountain explodes, destroying the paragliding equipment and throwing you into his helicopter where you push him out onto some rotating razor blades and save the day.
