But think of how fun it could be to tell people you live in an igloo, have seen a wild moose, and wear snow shoes to school!smiley - winkeye

Plural Moose. Not the right word I know, but it's as close as I can get.

Something like that. I wonder where you would go to find out the proper way to say it. My question is why is it that no one I ask knows how to say it? Is it just something that never needs to be said?

Probably just that it sounds weird. The English language is absurdly complex I'm told.

Sometimes I think I'd have to agree with that. But seeing as its the language I speak I feel like other languages are absurdly complex.

Yes... Yes it is a crazy language.

I was looking at my report card for grade 2 this morning. Boy did I do badly in english. Then again, I hated my teacher...and her solution was something that didnt help me at all.

Grade 2 as in 2nd Grade? As in clear back when you were, like, 8? You still have those? smiley - erm

What was the solution?

Yep, second grade. I think I have almost all of my reportcards.

Her solution was to write a paragraph full of puncuation, spelling and grammer errors and everymorning have the class write the paragraph out correctly without errors in their notebooks. I would always get mine back covered in red because I hadn't been able to do it. It was called The Daily Edit. I lived in fear of it and every morning before I went to school I prayed to God that she would forget and that I wouldnt have to do it. I always felt humiliated because I couldnt do it and she was never nice when you made a mistak, she would always make you feel stupid for it.

Her only redeeming quality was if you cried you got to go home. That was the advise I was given during silent reading the first day I was there. Also she was very nice to me when someone tripped me and I smashed my nose into the edge of a table. Other than that though...
