What the shoebasil?
Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jun 8, 2006
Actually, I'm afraid it does. You see, Ombudsman has little to know real power or influence, it simply investigates and scrutinises local authorities by performing an investigation and writing a report. No real power there whatsoever as the reports are non compulsory.
What the shoebasil?
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Jun 11, 2006
I had a feeling thats what it meant.
I wonder what the point of having it is if it cant actually do anything....
What the shoebasil?
Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jun 11, 2006
To launch an investigation and write a report. It encourages the perpetrator to amend mistakes and gives the public either a sense of satisfaction or shows them that there was no real error. Drat, why didn't I get a question on it in my politics exam!?!
What the shoebasil?
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Jun 14, 2006
I dont know! But you really should have.... That was a terribly good answer!
Sounds good on the surface.... But very pointless if you look at it closely.
What the shoebasil?
Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jun 17, 2006
I think thats more to do with the fact that nobody knows about them. But that wasn't nearly as much depth as I'd need for a politics question.
What the shoebasil?
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Jun 17, 2006
I'm sure you could have dug up more things to say about it.
I hate writing tests.

Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jun 18, 2006
Meh, they serve their purpose. I hate listening to other peoples test results though.
What the shoebasil?
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Jun 21, 2006
Especially if they do better than me!
I suppose its not so bad so long as the teacher doesnt read them out by name.... But it still sucks to see how many people did better than you.
I'm so happy.... On monday I learned that I beat Alison on the English provincial and so I dont have to be #2 anymore. Not that it matters now

Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jun 23, 2006
So what, you're top of your class in English? Thats great! You're in the same place as me!
What the shoebasil?
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Jun 23, 2006
Past tense. That was grade 12 english. I'm still really good at it and did very well in both the english couses I took this year.....but I dont know that I was the very top
What the shoebasil?
Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jun 24, 2006
Actually neither do I. I just assume I am because otherwise I will FAIL!
What grade are you in now?
What the shoebasil?
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Jun 25, 2006
You'll fail? I dont quite understand how that works....
There are no grades any more.... In BC we dont have a grade 13. I'm just in my first year of post secondary school.

Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted Jul 4, 2006
Oh well done.
I may apply for a foreign University. I was thinking maybe New Orleans but I don't know how old you have to be to start there.

No no no.... Not New Orleans.... Think where I live..... *looks into his eyes and does Bela Lugosi mind controling thing from White Zombie*

Looking for you, you writer of ZIM!
Love the concept and what you are doing with it; but we've probably only got one shot at this, so...:
[Invader ZIM is an eccentric alien soldier]
Minor suggestion: 'eccentric and clueless alien soldier'
[ a planet with the unlikely name of Earth,]
Minor suggestion: ' an unidenitifed planet represented only by a yellow sticky at the edge of the map that turns out to exist with the unlikely name of Earth,'
[a somewhat insane paranormal researcher,]
Minor suggestion: 'a somewhat insane, would-be paranormal researcher,'
[Zim was Johnen's first foray into cartoon animation,]
You may want to mention that it was Nickleodeon that asked him to create a cartoon for their network, and that this has confused him ever since. He assumes that they must've never seen his work.
[Apart from the trailer and the unaired pilot, the episodes currently known to me are:]
'Apart from the trailer and the unaired pilot, the episodes currently known are:'
Removing the 'to me' may make it E.G. worthy.
[Aparrantly after this point ]
'Apparently, after this point '
[so I'm not going to bother finding anything else out about them either.]
Again, removing the self-reference will make for a better opportunity to include this in the Edited Guide.
[Zim was trained from an early age as an Irkan soldier, ]
No need to really change this, but he was kinda hatched, wasn't he? He was immediately fitted with his backpack device and could speak.
[ begins his mission of Earth's annihilation.]
More correctly, Zim works toward 'conquest' rather than annihilation.
[He especially likes to watch the Scary Monkey Show, and singing the Doom Song.]
Gir also finds most any show his 'that's my favorite show!', even static.
[Dib is the only human10 to notice that Zim has green skin, no nose, no ears, antennae, and pink eyes. ]
At first, and most of the times Dib sees Zim, the antennae are covered with a bad wig and his eyes are covered with human eye looking contacts.
[He just happens to be a paranormal investigator, so ]
'He just happens to consider himself a paranormal investigator, so '
[Unfortunately for him, all the other kids in his class think he's crazy,]
' all the other kids, as well as the possibly alien teacher, in his class think he's crazy
[He loathes Santa Claus.]
'He loathes Santa Claus and loves toast.'
[when he drinks the last soda. ]
'when he drinks the last soda or worse, eats the last slice of pizza!'
[they like candy. ]
'they like candy, really all snacks, and puppets; they really like puppets.'
I hope this helps.
