Judy is a bitch. Being a female dog this epithet is appropriate. It is also appropriate when I tread in her 
in socked feet. It is more appropriate when we close all doors and barracade the most vulnerable one with threee chairs and she still manages to get past and deposit another message.
I think she has Houdini genes in her poochy make-up. I've had to go and buy a lock for the door so that we can lock her out of the room she has decided to label as "Dog WC." If she gets past this latest effort she may hear from my lawyer.

Perhaps it's an especially urgent message. Perhaps you need to do something (rescue someone from a well, for instance) and then she'll stop. I mean, looked at in that way, there's something almost heroic about her efforts

Oh it's our dog alright - but we aren't her first family. The people who had her before us had her from the dogs home. She's settled down a lot but it will be interesting to see how she gets through tonight. Fireworks going off all over the place are making her nervous - AND THAT'S THE LAST THING I WANT AT THE MOMENT!
