I've added the following about Flake Moments, does that read ok, and is accurate about Moments? (and added a few more bits and pieces)
>"The next was in September 2004, when Flake Moments were launched. A boxed selection, which has two layers, each containing 11 milk and white miniatures flakes, with added garnishes. The Moments have names such as: reflection, delight, heaven and obsession."

Entry looks great Em, covers lots of interesting background information as well as the public knowledge.
As an inspiration from the entry, went out today and bought a praline flake, yummy Praline is one of those fancy flavours that comes in chocolate selections and I've never been able to fully work out what it was, it took a product I know, Flake, with the interesting twist, praline, to define the flavours.
A bit of chasing on the advertising; Flake used to have the phrase "Sixpence worth of Heaven" as one of their slogans, don't have an accurate date, but it was pre-decimalisation. I also remember (but have been able to find any information on) one of the adverts that had to be removed and reshot due to the Flake girl putting her tongue on the chocolate before putting it into her mouth. For some reason the censors got all hoity-toity about the imagery. Anyone know further info on that one?
Keep going Em, now back to the field research.

Emmily ~ Roses are red, Peas are green, My face is a laugh, But yours is a scream Posted Aug 22, 2006
Yvonne, some good info there
Re- the ad having to be re-shot, any idea roughly what year or which of the ads?

It was one of those stories that are heard after the event, since the ad itself never made it into wide circulation. Most of the publicity came from a "popular adverts and goofs" type programme. This was early, 2002/3 ish.
Haven't got any more than that, despite serious internet surfing and digging, without going back to Cadbury themselves, who probably wouldn't tell anyway, controversial press and all.
Oh well, back to research in aid of a good cause.

I found this
>"In the 1970s, an advert was taken off air following complaints about the suggestive manner in which the woman bit into the bar."
it's from

If you don't think it's the same one, I can add them together.

They were *all* suggestive weren't they, that was the whole idea . I don't think it was the same ad, but as you say, the ongoing discussions in the media about the ad theme could be rounded together.

That one must have been a bit more suggestive than the rest, can't think how though
I'm suffereing a bit of a block on this Entry at the moment, it gets like that sometimes for me, maybe I need a fix. I'll come back to it tomorrow, maybe then I'll be able to see things more clearly.

It had something to do with her tongue coming out to meet the Flake, rather than the flake going into her mouth first. Enjoy the break.

Nearly finished
This is making my
>"The fortieth anniversary of the advertising campaign for Flake provides the inspiration for this new commercial. New footage is tagged on to clips from earlier ads with Flake 99 referring both to the year and a flake in an ice cream cone. "
I'm having problem 'translating' the above, so it says the facts in a different way...it was also the last advert featuring a Flake girl, so that would need to be incorporated too. Any suggestions?

No, I think I may be wrong there, it was the start of a new type of advert, and the end of the Flake Girls.
Once this bit is sorted, I think the Entry can be submitted to PR, any comments, suggestions or corrections welcomed.
