The UK faces a bill of millions for guarding its borders from immigrants!

Owing to the lack of a strong policy (if there is a policy) of refusing entry and withholding all but support, as is the case in other countries it is little wonder the UK is targeted.

What can be done to sort this problem out, the northern counties will soon be full.

The solution's obvious , Bob.

Keep a suitcase packed. When the last immigrant gets here finally, hop on a plane to an empty Romania and shut the door. smiley - smiley

The internet reception is c++p
I think France might do. The ISIS problem is likely to end in war, and the anti IS coalition will go in gloves off ultimate war. IS has a long walk overland and the Germans and the like will put up a stiff resistance. Romania is part of a likely battlefield.

The old British Empire nasty twist that many troops used may reappear ammunition dipped in pig fat Lets hope not.

What I can't understand about all this is, why do they want to come to Britain?

They are already in Europe, and they crossed over another large part of Europe to get to the ferry terminal, so why?????smiley - erm

They have destroyed their ID documentation to become stateless.
In Europe no ID no benefits or work and a tough time all round.

These are the basics as I understand them.
In ihe event they get into the UK the immigration has to take on any lie as they cant prove they are not illeagles. They get cash accommodation and work, the work the british worker won't do, this is so much better than what they left behind thats fine by them. They stay ling enough they can apply for UK citizenship.

What I saw in the news today, it seems that will all be coming to a stop soon?

I don think it's the jobs that us Brits won't do, I think it's more to do with the pay.

As from what I saw in that TV documentary, it's not worth them coming off the dole to do them kind of jobs, as they would be better off financially staying on the dole?

So, there is something wrong with the system?

I've been in jobs in the past, where I just couldn't make ends meet, so I had to do evening bar work to survive.

This meant that I wasn't at home much, so when I got a job that meant working away from home, I took it, even though I was away for weeks at a time.

Over the years, this took it's toll, I ended up divorced at the age of forty, so there is a cost to paysmiley - erm

The reason politicians try so hard to get re-elected is that they would "hate" to have to make a living under the laws they have just passed. smiley - laugh

It appears that the French have had enough and might just stop guarding the tunnel. Why can't it just be closed until the problem is over.smiley - smiley

Post 20

Smudger879n

No point in closing the tunnel Bob, they would just find another way to get here?

Besides, they couldn't close it, as there is infrastructure in place now to use as an alternative?

Mind you, personally I don't think it was a good idea in the first place?
