Technically it's Monday here now. I still haven't gone to bed yet, but I'm filling the hottie in anticipation.
I hope you get to have time off sometime? - all work and no play and all that...

Well, I'm on time-off now, otherwise I wouldn't be on hootoo... I'll be off to the library soon to do some coursework though.

What are you studying?

Arabic and General Literature (I guess you'd call Arabic my major and literature my minor, though the system here's a bit different). I like it but it's pretty time-consuming, especially this year.

Right, really gotta be going now - meant to go earlier but I'm having a fascination conversation with 2legs, all in gibberish... very weird.

Ah but I see you are back again What time is it there? It's 11.25am here (12 hours ahead of GMT).
Are you learning Arabic as a language or Arabic literature etc?

It's about half past midnight here (two hours east of GMT, but I can't remember if it's summer-time or winter-time that's different; we're on winter-time now, which makes it... er, an hour ahead of something or other ). I should probably be going to sleep soon.
Arabic is essentially 'language and literature' but there aren't many courses that deal with language, definitely not the spoken language. We're mainly dealing with all sorts of Classical texts - literature, history, theology (those two are closely related) the Quran etc.

Er ... *pant* yes, it is a bit. What with work on the one hand and having to stop every now and again and stare at the ceiling and go "Why? Why?" on the other.
Oops

an academic if you count that as work

What kind of mischief can we get up to in Trin's absence then?
