I'll always fondly remember the time you and Abbi started a food fight in the Aroma Café in order to force an update to the name of the entry on the front page. That was great fun!

Gosh so many fond memories! Abi and mufflewumps!

I'm using up my leave at the moment, so not working Mondays and Friday's - so I can come on here and say hi and goodbye to all the h2g2ers! Woo hoo!

h2g2 does have plenty of quiet and slightly dusty backwaters, doesn't it? Anyway, that's where I was mooching my way about when I saw, with a sense of slight shock, that Peta's name was not in bold italics.

Having read through this thread since, I see that Rich says her departure was also mentioned in the Post, which I somehow managed to miss. I read the Post more often than I used to.

Oddly, Peta's name is still marked as special on F2131439?thread=5642853.


All this talk of meets in the heady days of h2g2 before I joined. I'm planning to go to my first ever meet in a week's time. Sometimes I still feel like a newbie.

Will I ever see you at a meet, Peta?
