I just took the republic assault ship and added a bit more punch

errr i had to modify it a tiny bit because i found out that the original assault ship had a compliment of 16,000 troopers, plus a stupid amount of support vehicles.
Suffice to say i've doubled most things and im in the process of adding a summary

What? No impenetrable shields, force null bubbles and Acme(tm) Planeto-destructo cannons?

Asmodai Dark (The Eternal Builder, servant of Howard, Crom, and Beans) Posted Feb 11, 2004
Well at a push i can feild 5500 troopers (okay okay there ARC's, but seeing as though i could of had three times that...)
Theres a boarding torpedo that wont get used (unless a certain sith lord/s goes flying about)
The walkers from clones are skimmers because skimmers are all terrain and look better.
Thats it. It has a few more cannons then the original, but its a flagship so it makes sense.
BTW, if you want to rescue who ever it is you were rescuing, head to Hoth. HPB might let me bring the hammerhead to hoth for a play in the snow

I don't have a problem with that, it's a capital ship. In a fleet, HDS's megadeathship wouldn't even be classed as a frigate! Whereas I still have me fighter, wouldn't hurt the hammerhead, but it'd jink about a bit.

Yeh, it might do some damage if you went about it in the right way - but it'd be very difficult to criple it even from the inside (due to the size of it)
Basically the plan is this. The black death is only a small ship, so theres no way it can win a fire fight with the hammerhead. But it doesnt have to. The moment he clocks on he's going to take off, so the first task is to stop it going anywhere that he can't argue with. Then the troops will go in 'like its halloween'

*Big sign saying 'HDS Magic show'*
HDS:Now you've all seen my wonderful 'cant kill my ship trick' now for my newest trick
*Rolls up sleeves* Nothing up here, nothing up here
*Pulls a sith army out of a hat*
TA-DA!!! Amazing aint it

I request permission to blow apart the black death. Its beardy, its invincible - i want to kill it.

How about crippling it? Can i cripple it to the point where hes forced to leg it?
You've got to admit, he's pushing it a bit far now. The ultra invincible ship i can sort of get, but not the troops.

Something i found whilst lurking, from the hand of HDS.

Now what we have to ask is:
Does he intend to use it in the academy game?
I was planning a great storyline where HDS would be captured, then i'd give him a clone army to rip up some galaxy while i carry out more evil scheming but whats the point if hes getting a death star and the population of a planet to crew it.
Now should i:
a) Make a bigger army
b) Ally with the republic and the jedi
c) leave it to HPB

"Magical Psychic Teleporting Pixies of the Dark Order:There are some who do not not seem to know what continuity means. Your character has to know of another person's existance before you can run off with them... Meaning you can not, for 'example' suddenly be from halfway across the galaxy and take away joinees when:
you were speaking out of character in the join up thread and inform characters that there's an alternative when they clearly could not know of your existence with your suddenly having an impulse1 to just happen to be in a place to pick other characters up whom through narrative have never seen or heard from you and have impulses to be where you are at the exact moment."
Everyones whos subscribe to this will see this, and some will remember it from the rules page.
Annat just contacted anoons room (a room that was burnt to a crisp) looking for jo'tra. Now this makes bugger all sense seeing as it wasnt Jo'tras room and because it was trashed. The only reason why he contacted that was because hed returned to the academy.

Roughly translated as "Annat was talking to my missus, and I don't like it!"
Annat knows Jo'tra hangs about in Anoon's room. He never knew it was trashed. So therefore if unable to contact Mihar or Jo'tra directly (nobody in rooms) the next step before interrupting the council would be trying their haunts!
