Boo hoo
My luvly car died, in a really inconveneint place, the busiest road in Plymouth right at a junction, stopped in the bus lane. Towed it home and we have no clue whatsoever what is wrong with it. B*gger!

Ouch. At least you've got an idea now.
I've had to call out Green Flag twice in the last week. The glow plugs had gone, unknown to me, which has meant that for months the battery has been struggling to turn over my diesel Citroen lump and been slowly having the life force drained from it. So I had to call them out on Sunday to get me home and then again this morning so I could drive it to a garage.
It seems fitting new glow plugs necessitates taking off the pump, which will set me back £145 + VAT.

ouch!
Well it looks as though some fuse has blown, also I think I might have a oil leak somewhere. But apparantly it is not so bad, might even be back on the road this weekend! Hurrah!

It is that time of year. My car was also very sick in the last week, overheating, and causing me to call International Rescue. Diagnosis: head gasket blown and radiator damaged. Cost of repair: uneconomic - more than I paid for the car!
What am I to replace it with? (rhetorical)

Well car is now fixed, I even replaced the radiator all by myself ...
However Oil is leaking out of the Sump Gaskett so I am going to have to try to fix that on Sunday, still I have wheels again! Hurrah!

First cars normally die early, especially if its a complete donkey like yours was!! Did you fill it with diesel instead of petrol?
