Ten years ago today I signed up with h2g2. I'd celebrate if I still felt as if I belonged here, but I don't do so at present.
Still, we have a saying here that you should celebrate the fêtes as they occur, so here's to my friends who are still here.

I remember the times when I was all in awe about those who had been here for ten years. Now I'm such an oldie, too.

Golly, I'm terrible at dates and anniversaries and such.I have little or no sense of the passage of time.
I only just now looked to see, and I've been here 8 years now. 
So you're more mature than I am. (Do h2g2ers age, like 
? Or just figure out smileys like that? )

, but I's object to smelling like matured . 
Leggsie, I can't see it now, but you know how it is with h2g2 - you can check out anytime you like but you can never leave.

Thanks, KB. I'm very busy with lots of interesting things, and now that we're having a spell of summer weather I'm outdoors a lot, but I'll check in here from time to time.
