Morning! Right back at ya.
I feel as if I'm pestering. I prefered the Inspiral Carpets.
I thought so.
Hey have you got a new lurk account?
I'm ok, a bit fed up, but ok.
Well
Zymurgy Posted Jun 11, 2003
Nah, you're not. I just know you wouldn't know what to say if I did tell you and I don't want to make you uncomfortable.
Ah, Inspiral Carpets, memories of childhood.
No, I don't...why do you ask?
Everything alright? You fancy a grumble with your
?

Pad Posted Jun 11, 2003
You won't, unless you're planning on putting crumbs in my bed. Childhoood? I was a teenager, you were hardly still in nappies.
Just that the *other* account has acquired a new name on the pp, "eat me" or something.
Nah, just a bit fed up, I'll be fine. Thanks though.
Well
Zymurgy Posted Jun 11, 2003
I'd have to be feeding you Victoria sponge for that to happen. I was 10 or 11, that's still a child - although I was a smoking boozehound by then.
Had a look, have they deleted it again?
What can I do to cheer you up?
Well
Pad Posted Jun 11, 2003
Ah, but you're a gateau girl. I didn't smoke *properly* until after I'd left school.
I added it to mine, not this one, seems they're shy.
I don't know if it would be within the House Rules.

Zymurgy Posted Jun 11, 2003
I like my classics too, could compromise with a little chocolate sauce. I started having the odd one when I was 10, by the time I was in high school I was nipping out between every class.
What age did you leave school at?
I noticed. G
We'd only get a formal warning.
Well
Pad Posted Jun 11, 2003
Chocolate sauce? I hope that's not a euphemism.
I had my first at around the same age. An uncle thought he'd show me how disgusting they were and put me off.
The same age as you were when you left.
"Ar wa wurkin darn pit wen r wa 14!"
Was that a guess? The name would fit.
What's a bit of formal between friends?
[Arrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhh! I've left it five, last try.]
Well
Zymurgy Posted Jun 11, 2003
No it isn't, and I just knew you were going to say that. I was going to let you eat cake off me, but for your cheek...
He should have made you chew the filter.
Sixteen then? I was just wondering if you'd stayed on for a bit.
Yep, that was my thinking.
I like to skip the formality and go straight for bosom-buddies.
502s?
Well
Pad Posted Jun 11, 2003
You know me so well. Why? I'd have just started eating filters then.
I only stayed on for my exams.
I don't know, I'll have to have a proper lurk later. I think they may have posted to a couple of threads I've read and unsubscribed.
Buddies? Why not just go for the ?
How did you guess? That was the fifth update, looks like it was a good idea to try one last time.
I was having a look through the Dead thread earlier and noticed the reply to your last posting. Just wondered if you were happy with it? Tell me to p!ss off if I'm sticking my nose in.
Well
Zymurgy Posted Jun 11, 2003
Nah, I just think along similar lines. You ever tasted one?
I stayed on a bit longer but I got kicked out.
I did see that name online quite a bit earlier today. Shame forum search doesn't bring up titles or posters names.
I'm a little shy Bugs.
Looks like it was my turn this time, 20 tries to get into the reply screen.
You're a friend, sticking your nose in has a different meaning. You talking about the bar thread? I wasn't really bothered or surprised if you are.
Well
Pad Posted Jun 12, 2003
That is scary.
Yes
, I've played AND lost at "bastard" many times.
You couldn't stay on at the school I went to, college was next, but my parents wanted rent.
It is rather useless, even compared to the LD one, and that's saying something.
We'll soon get rid of that.
It usually multi-posts when you hit post more than once. Unless that's already been disabled.
Yes I was. It's just that I've not seen you mention it in here.
Anyway, it's the dreaded bedtime for me.
Nighty-night... at will.
Have a good one.
[looks like it's my turn again.]
Well
Zymurgy Posted Jun 12, 2003
You call it 'bastard'? It's 'chew the beef' round my way. Ooh, that's harsh. Did you want to stay on? My dad wanted me to be some sort of insane scientific genius, instead he got an insane philosophical bum.
I used to get booted by the library search constantly.
Give it your best shot.
What did you think of the reply?
Me too, been up since 9 and I've to be out by 10 tomorrow.
Night, sweetheart that you are
Well
Pad Posted Jun 12, 2003
Chew the beef? Is that the same then? Where you have to smoke the cig to the butt end and whoever it goes out on has to eat the filter?
Not particularly, but I didn't get to make the choice. Two out of three isn't bad.
It was tempermental at times, but it did throw up all the postings ever made by a particular person.
I shall.
I thought it was a little insensitive, but if you were fine with it.
Enjoy your shopping.
Good afternoon, btw.
Well
Zymurgy Posted Jun 12, 2003
Yep, that's the one. My usual tactic was to bring Tam to every tournament and threaten him so he'd take huge draws.
Could still go to college now y'know. Hmmm, which were the two?
True, but nobody posted 170 times a day in the Library. Imagine searching for Cuddly's name.
I shall be prepared.
It didn't seem any different than usual, I'm a clown so people expect everything to be a joke. I'm queen of insensitivity anyway.
Slept in, not been yet. In fact, I should be getting ready.
Good afternoon to you too. Shorts today?
Well
Pad Posted Jun 12, 2003
Yep, I soon learnt to get a scapegoat too.
I wouldn't mind going, but you don't get a wage there. I suppose evening classes could be looked into again. But I don't think any start at midnight. Insane and philosophical, you said.
No fear there, she wouldn't be able to work it.
I shall strike when you're not.
I hadn't noticed.
You should, but getting out of bed is a pain. Hasn't your chum been and got you up then?
Nah, I have a roof.
Well
Zymurgy Posted Jun 12, 2003
Was yours a girl Fonzy?
Yep, and the grants and bursaries are crap. I did alright with the £300 a month, went to the pub every day, all day. Why would they have to start at midnight? He wanted scientific though.
Are the delete buttons the only thing that's new in email btw?
I'm very aware y'know it may well backfire.
Can you get a 'no whistling' journal intro?
Nah, she's got no money for bus fare. I'm taking her for a pint.
Damn. What you up to anyway? Taking over the world?
Well
Pad Posted Jun 12, 2003
Nah, I wouldn't take advantage. Not in that way.
We don't get grant's or bursaries. What did you study then? That's when I come alive.
I must have read your post wrong then.
Err, I think that they've reduced the attachment size again. I haven't been able to open one up yet.
Well I shall just have to play it better then.
Yep, but I'm not gonna put it in, so you can't nick it.
Yayy!<ale. Have one for me. Hey, have you seen that clingy's getting a hard time now? I wonder what that's all about.
My plan for world domination is going to plan. Just the night's that are cold.
Well
Zymurgy Posted Jun 12, 2003
More concerned with other ways then? Did you ever suggest having a game just because you had no fags?
I got a bursary because I was taking Highers, basically sitting 5th year. English, Biology, Sociology and Psychology.
Same here, but you don't even need to be awake in college really.
Yeah, you said in email, I almost got one open.
Want to have a little bet?
I know the way to the GuideML pages.
I'm only having one, but it'll be for you. Ah, she's got friendlier with ex-nobody.
Want to borrow a leccy blanket?
