I've been told that the most obvious sign that I've had a bit to drink is that I start using bigger words...

...my poor vocabulary...it only gets to come out at a point in the night where no one can appreciate it...

For some reason it's apparently tricky to tell when I'm drunk...I mean, it's easy for me (I usually go off to the toilets to dance )...but no one else can tell...which I think works well !!

More pressingly, I'm going back to work next week and, frankly, I'm unprepared - anyone got any tips to make it less stressful?

Hmmm...remind me to leave my knees alone...I'll just wait til they wear away and I can get some new ones......

I have no idea how to make work less stressful...as soon as I walk passed the crucifix (don't ask) I get that evil sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach...the only answer I have is beer...unless of course you work with kids or machinery ...

No kids or machinery in my workplace - just a bunch of ****** **** ******* ********** ******* *** * ******!

I know what you mean, it's not arrogance, it's just the way things are...the girl I work with went away for a month and they just left me alone, and I got by, kept the whole section afloat and no one got killed...I take three days off and I'm getting calls of anarchy and hell breaking looose, with an enormous pile o cr@p on my desk when I return...
