Well, I'm back again...

Well, the title says it all really, nothing much I can add to that. I'm back, having sone no fishing at all. I did, however, sort of fall in a river... a bit.
Anyway, enough of that paragraph, onto a new paragraph.
I checked my e-Mails, and I had 48, so I checked on my other account, and I had 29. When I came round, I checked on H2G2, and saw a load of people muttering darkly about the boards changing, and me having missed everything, and so on, as usual after you go on holiday. Now, I really can't be bothered to go back and read through everything, so if anyone feels like bringing me up to speed, in a couple of paragraphs, using words of one or maybe two sylables, I'll be quite happy.
I bought some rock for you too... but I ate it in the car.
Well, I'm back again...

Well, umm, Andrew was attacked by a troll and/or a hacker with knowledge of his middle name! THis caused some hub-bub, and finally resulted in Pamela engaging the troll in battle and thusly getting the little mumbly atomized out of boarddom! THe boards then closed down on Thursday and Friday for technical reasons, resulting in the creation of a new forum by Richard the links on the discussion he made titled "A New Forum"! It is a nice place. Umm, what else? Let's see, hmmm? THere was this giant elephant that sat on a wicker chair and broke it. Oh, Epicurious is here. I think that's about it that I know of, which may or may not be a lot? I know you didn't go hunting I also know you went *cobirdingugh* no need to get wet or fishy there!
Have a nice day.
Oh, I joined this guildy thing so I'm supposed to do this; I think.

What sort of rock? Quartz? Granite? Or Limestone?
Well in a space a few paragraphs:
The BBCi messageboards had been continually acting up for a number of weeks when during this week they became jarred on one position, threads vanishing and appearing, messages were disjointed. To rectify the situation the BBC messageboard team closed them down temporarily for a couple of days promising that they would be re-opened on Friday.
They gave a weak, if not wholly believable reason as to why the boards were acting up or why the concept of after hour posting was removed.
During this time Lance joined Mike, myself and Matin on Skaro and recently Pamelas climbed onboard once again and is slowly getting there.
Andrew has left the boards when the 'hacker' from the past conversation masquerading as 'Guess Who' started to insult Andrew afterwards and claimed that he was him but ultimately wasn't. Pamela got him banned from appearing on the boards ever again.
The Life Boat has fallen away to unknown circumstances but I have created a new forum in its place: TARDIS. So far Lance, Pamela, Super Bufanda, Andrew and Hurricane have popped in.
I hope these paragraphs answer your inquiring mind?

Hullo, Steven, old fellow, my dear old chappie! You're back then I guess? Stupid question, don't answer that...
As everyone else has already said, Richard's made a forum, which I'll have to visit when I have time; the Boards disappeared for a time, which was highly disconcerting, especially as, if you tried to go to them, you were actually TOLD that there was a problem and they were down! That was a change. They even put it on their News page. Wierd...
In other news, they found a few scenes of 'Fury from the Deep'; attacks from part Six, I think they said. Only a few minutes, but anything's good when it's a lost story.
Oh, and Super and Richard each started a Lord Mike story, but I've been far to busy to contribute to either. They're both quite good in places though, at least what I've read. And now I'm going to go say tally-ho to Mr. McFlute. (Who's put up a bit more of his story on T&S, by the way.) Haven't been around all that much otherwise, as I've been busy, and now I've got a cold.
You fell in a river? Oh dear, was it fun? And you brought me some rocks... which you ate. Did they taste all right?

Hi, MArian, I think mine is the inferior of the two, so it may get forgotten, I think we should wait for Richard's story finishes and then wait to recharge the silly batteries.
Oh, I forgot, Doctor Martin's won his courageous battle against cancer and has returned to the boards! I thought that bit of good news was important!

Oh, your story was quite good, I thought.
Doctor Martins all right again? Oh, that is great news! - Marian

The Masked Ermine Posted Aug 3, 2003
No, you first. You see I've run into a bit of a brick wall with it, err, to tell the truth I've sort am hoping Martin, or anyone for that matter, will sort of pick it up and run with it a bit, because if you've noticed I sort of mixed up the two stories, it's a bit like reading two stories at the same time that are from the same author and have relatively the same characters in them. In other words a bit confusing!
Well, I'm back again...
Nice-Dalek Posted Aug 3, 2003
Well that's just the trouble, begging your pardon but I'm lost as to where the story has come and gone and with Mike complaining I feel myself forever sinking lower and lower into the mists of the lost.
Did that make sense to you?
Well, I'm back again...
The Masked Ermine Posted Aug 3, 2003
Yes, I'm sorry I kind of muddied the works, but I sort of tried to rectify the problem using some fancy plot device foot work!
Steven will do :p
Chewable Acidophilus Posted Aug 4, 2003
Saying that makes me feel a lot better... because that has happened to me all the time. I'm very good at turning up, just when everything has happened, and then pretending I was there all the time...

Hello Steve!

What, active or pointless?
>>Hello Steve!<<
