Just thought I should advertise a bit early this year,On May the fourth we will be having a big BBQ lasting from lunchtime until well into the night , your all welcome to drop by.

havent been to anything like a bbq in more yeras than i can count on my fingers.

even on an estate as large as mine,there was ony two families ever had them, and both have sold up and gone long ago.

Would love to be there, but a bit impossible right now (see Eye thread)....however, we had a BBQ here in sunny Oirland last night & i was actually mentioning yer good self & others on different parts of the planet we inhabit via hootoo....

Such is life.....once we get RL sorted, maybe we can drop by, stranger things happen at sea, as me Grandma used to say!

A couple of ladies that usually help out in the kitchen etc have called to say they will be coming and I hope to have my cameras charged so watch this space,

The weather report says cloudy but dry which is just great , usually it gets a bit too hot so cloudy is good

sorry but i can't make it tommorrow, or is it today already????

i will be thinking of you as i have had a BBQ foisted upon me as usual,

my friends who come round for beers every week said last week,

"bank holiday next week, what time you sparking up the barby"

and that was it.

so have a nice one and we can catch up next week when i am back at work

Thank you all , The weather was just right for being outside ,low 20's and cloud no rain ,
everyone had a good time and I learnt a new simple recipe for mexican bean salad which was /is delicious mexican + beans my two favourites in one
