They went fine. I only needed 40% to get an A* on my IT anyway, so no biggie, really... Maths non-calc, of course, had the obligatory very long questions that anyone in their right mind would use a calculator for, but I actually managed to work them out, despite how seemingly impossible they were. Oh, and don't forget the impossible algebra they use to confuse you when you're sure you need the equation but can't because you really do need a calculator for that... Calculator papers are always easier

That's good then.
Calcumulators are essential. Having said that, if I put in the same equation 4 or 5 times, I tend to get a different answer for each one

There is that problem. Especially with scientific calculators...no, existential scientific calculators. Y'know, the ones that randomly change mode just so that you get completely different results when you're trying to do standard deviation or trig...

Oh yes... I know the ones... only mine seems to change its mind when doing things like adding or multiplying.

Odd that. Y'know, I've never had a problem with mine. But mind you, I tend to be good at keeping well-behaved electrical appliances

Mine do whatever the hell they want- I have no say in the matter. Just occasionally my will collides with theirs, and something useful happens.

Better than never...
Had my calc exam today. Easy, in a difficult way. Probably because I did hardly any revision... What I did do wasn't on the paper. No loci, no index numbers...what is the world coming to? What do we get? Bluddy chords and seemingly impossible histogram questions. And physics. It wa a maths exam, why put physics on it! Fortunate that I'm good at thinking on my feet Glad that's over with. Never again!

Just the one to go now... I'm so glad that it's all going to be over. Wish I didn't have to find out the results, though. Spoils the whole experience, really

I know exactly what you mean- should be getting my provisional results on friday :-s
Have a horrible feeling...
Fingers crossed, though.
Good luck with your last exam

I'll try...I'm currently going through all the obligatory pre-holiday panicing and tidying and sorting. Which is going to take a long time, I have way too much school stuff to get through and an icky cold slowing me down. So...tired
How ar things back at home?

If you want, you can help me work out my sewing machine. Actually, no, that's probably not very practical
Actually, I'm rather bored myself, and can't think of much to do. I'm just glad I'm not in school. Got induction days next Monday and Tuesday...icky.

If you pay me, I'd gladly oblige
We had our A-level induction day on the saturday before we started on the monday...
I want to go and meet people and have parties and things.

I'd love to pay you, but the problem is, I'm completely broke...
Well ours is next Monday. Erk. Hoping there won't be too many blasts from the past... and hopefully a few proper nerds for me to hang around with. Yay! Finally, there will be non-females! Such a relief, I think.
I'm sure it can be arranged...

Ah, you being plunged into a pool of guys... I don't know whether to feel sorry for, or jealous of them...
All my friends are engaged in uni work, and I have no money... a difficult arrangement to make, I feel...

Believe me, I'm not actually interested in them, I'm just glad they're not women Only 25% of our sixth form are male, and because I'm not, lets say, desperately seeking a boyfriend, I doubt I'll be bothered to fight for one. Besides, all I'm looking forward to is someone who knows what Dr Who is and will happily listen to me babble about quantum physics occasionally. I really am a man, aren't I? Knowing my luk, the enire intake will be chaffs, and not a single geek
Well, the summer is coming soon... plenty of parties then, I dare say..And time to find money, too
