I think you might be right Cal... though it is quite unintentional... Bendolf is a foster who will most likely end up permanent (not many people want to adopt a 10 year old sheepdog with a bad haircut) and Bob knows hennypenny just moved herself right on in.. though she may be rethinking it now that Ben is trying his hand at poultry herding..
