not being silly, but "age" brings wisdom and experience we learn and also learn from mistakes (most of us do that is) there are the odd exceptions in society

This is true. If I could leave my younger self a note, I'd say,

"Embrace your weird side, read tarot, learn Astrology, meditate, learn all about the things that interest you, don't repress these desires because people think they're evil. You will feel a lot better about yourself in the long run"

If I met a younger me, I'd probably say - don't try and work it out, as your only going to do the same as I did
unless I could tell me a future set of winning 7 euro lottery numbers

If I had a Tardis the first thing I'd do is find a lottery win

If I had oneI'd go back and tell myself NOT to chat with ex in a local pub
I'd known her for a few years previously..

but as I got my 2 kids out of the "deal" I can't really grumble

not arf' the "mate" who was driving the car (at the time) got charged by the GPO for damage to the telegraph pole more than the fine for driving uninsured and as a learner driverThe only thing that hit the telegraph pole = my head

Blimey, I bet that caused a giggle locally

The bonnet of the car was sent like a discus across the road, nearly cutting 2 women pushing prams in halfI know this as fact - because I found out that I knew one of the women - They ran for their lives!
The steering wheel was sticking out of the front passenger door, the near side wheel was level where the wing of the car should have been and the two front seats were ripped off their mountings The cops told me that IF I'd have been seat-belted in - I'd have been in two halves

memory jerk! He got fined £104 for the smash = no insurance/driving as a learner unaccompanied/ and other charges

He then got a bill from the GPO for repairs to the telegraph pole etc = £141.1p the only thing that hit it - was my head

and I'm alive to say so
