we used to do the 4 jacks drinking game

I've never played or seen it played but I've heard about it

pack of cards dealt out to who is going to play, the 1st jack out, that person names a drink(any concoction within a pint glass)the 2nd jack out ,they pay for it, the 3rd jack, they take a sip, the last jack, has to drink it in one..last one standing wins

that sounds like a good game.

could do it in calella but seen as we dont pay they have to go to the bar!

some of my mates went to Rimini/Italy years ago, they started to play it in a bar. The next day the barkeep told them, that if they would do it every night, he would pay for the drinks, when asked why, he said his bar had never been so full, because of curiosity..guess where they spent their holiday and they rigged it so they all had a good drink and hangover

we used to do it in our local, many moons ago, it was pot luck, co's you could cop having to pay all the time, but to get the drink..head exploded

Too early for the Pub and finished with the parade...the worst time on ST Pats,So a quick fill in on the parade in bullet points

*Priest informed us in mass that drinking too much wasn't condoned,but for the love of God Dont go near the church tiolet like last year.
*My FCA seargeant announced that his wife had their son today,no prizes what his name will be,so we all stood him a round before the parade.
*One of the vintage cars broke down in the middle of the parade but a few men were rounded up and pushed it to the finish.
*One of the Garda's was voted the most "amiable drinker" which entitles him to free rounds in any pub in town,everyone knew he was on duty tonight eg he cant drink.
*and finaly one of the drones broke off me pipes mid Siege of Athlone.

So all in all it was a good day, have you ever thought about writing an Guide entry on the history and playing of Ullian pipes

i went to the pub after guides to have my pint of guiness and black but they put too much black in so you couldnt taste the guiness

And that's a bad thing, don't like guiness

i love proper irish guiness and like it in england with a litle bit of black in but not as much as they put in.

its also mice with ribena!
