Cambo Clowns are a group that hang around Camberwell in Melbourne, Australia. A lot of the stories are probably Urban Legends and Myths, but there are some fairly gruesome stories about what they do to girls.
They're called the Cambo Clowns cause they turn they're victims faces into clown faces.

The slit the corners of their mouth and then make them scream (that's the really disturbing bit and also involves ankles which is how I thought of them) and then slit their eyelids and punch then in the nose so that the slits go up to their ears from their mouth, making a smile, and in big lines making clown eyes.
