h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have got a badge or two
For work I've done on old Hootoo
It has been cool I have to say
The perfect way to fill the day.
To chat with friends it has been fun
While trying to make sense of some
Long-dead writer with a thought
Of monsters, when her life was fraught
With tragedy and foolish men.
It's much the same right now as then.
The badges - yes they were my aim
And no, I do not feel the shame
Of working for a badge or two
They're just a thank you from Hootoo.

Congratulations Fizzy, well done, you've worked darned hard for them, well deserved.

Thanks ST, I know some people think it's tacky to work for a badge, but hey ...... some of us need a target to work for.

Ah but those who think it's tacky are the usual suspects that are jealous about others having a talent they can never hope to emulate and don't understand the concept of the site in general anyway.

I'm hoping when things settle in RL to get my writing head back but for now am taking a break from any serious stuff.

That's not to say I won't be watching as per.
