h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Today was the best non-birthday I've had for quite a while, and it started off so badly.

We slept in, which meant running around like a lunatic and trying to beat the traffic to get to work just 15 mins late.

Then I get an email from a friend who tells me they loved Size Zero, but really loved Ed Gein - who hasn't even hit the front page yet.

Shortly after that one of my colleagues brought me a beautiful bunch of flowers in a lovely little glass vase ...... just for being nice.

Then about an hour later another colleague brought me a lovely box of chocolate buns from Asda ...... just because?

I don't know what's going on here, but I like it, and it completely turned around what could have been just another day.

Absolutely nothing me.

The only problem I have at the moment is I don't seem to be able to get up in time for work these days.

I think it could be hootoos fault, but I've never had this problem before, so maybe it's something I'm doing wrong.

I always used to be up the instant the alarm went off, but since meeting you lot and spending half my waking life on Hootoo, I seem to be having increasing trouble getting out of bed...
