Yes, we are all like that.
You could keep your mouth full at all times and just not swallow your food and then you'd be fine.

You'd have to be 
(or a Hollywood actor) not to do *some* chewing, and the chewing would activate the salivary glands
. So, whether you wanted to or not, you'd chew and swallow the food, albeit a bit slowly. Maybe that would be okay.
