I'm not here to compare the two, Cy. I've only seen the remake so it wouldn't be fair for me to pass judgement. For mindless entertainment DotD '04 serves well.

Besides, I'm of the opinion that Hollywood is stuck in a remake slump anyway. They remade that old British horror "The Fog"

I'm hoping Shaun of the Dead will be enjoyable. I've heard good things about it.

That's supposed to be brilliant, and Simon Pegg is a great actor.
