Hypatia breath! Report will take a while as am now prospecting small sister's house. Two storey onto a People Carrier is possible but she might object... and it might be as solid as a Merc. We need something flimsier but no-one's dropping anything on my Micra.

Welcome back Pin. What was it, then? What broke?

It's a frequent fault on the machine I've got, apparently.
The power supply intermittently puts out overvoltage spikes, and kills the motherboard.
So they had to replace both.
Seems to be quite a bit faster now, though (and the fan's a whole lot noisier...)
