So what do you do when you want to get togather with someone thats on the other side of the world?

I can see the distance is really going to make things hard. but I can see how it could improve things a bit by making me not so snoying or tiresom. (which I know I can be)

And do people think some thorntans DHLed to the US would be an idea?

..I happen to be a seaman for a living.
Which often equals being an astronaut, regarding relationships.

Distance can prove itself a mayor/minor issue, or no prob at all, depending on the person involved..
i´ve had quite a few "wreckings" on that account.
On the other hand, i have also realized how unimportant time and distance can be, when that essential chemistry is there.

And old soulmate o´mine, an Aussie-sweetheart with a beautifull contageous smile, is in Zimbabwe doing voluntary relief,
We´ve met only twice in the past ...Eeeh,3years, i think.
But i still love her just the same, and enjoys her sweet attention the other way around as well.
Mail, in whatever form, is probably the smartest social invention mankind has come up with yet.

I'm starting to agree with that line of thinking A.D.
The amount of time/effort spent to present our "best" foot forward is time better in this environment. No spellcheck in RL.

And yes, I think sending chocs or flowers is a great idea. But you shouldn't need to DHL them - there's bound to be local delivery services that you can just order on the 'net.
