Three times in the last 18 hours or so, a slightly tipsy young woman has come up to me and wished me a 'Happy Pride' for today.
That's really sweet of them. Lovely 
Sadly I have to point out that not every Brighton based skinhead in his early forties who's wearing a slightly too tight white t-shirt is actually a homosexual. It is normally a good indicator, yes. But in this case you've made a mistake.

GD why should only the non-straight be wished a happy pride day? Obviously you must have been looking a little down in dumps and the wonen was trying to cheer you up. It probably because you had the entire Fantasy Football crew pursuing you in hunting pink on hourseback.

Lies!!! That's actually the *definition* of a homosexual. Sexual attraction to other men is just an optional extra.
