I know I shouldn't watch, but it's not my fault
GreyDesk Started conversation Sep 10, 2006
I know I've described the layout of my office / back bedroom before. But I'll give you a quick reprise as it's important to the subject matter of this journal.
- The computer sits on a grey desk in my back bedroom.
- The desk is pushed up against the wall.
- As I sit at the desk, I'm turned to the left as the screen is positioned on the left hand side of said desk.
- I have a window to my immediate left.
- I can see out of the window with the corner of my eye at all times whilst using the computer.
- My house backs onto another row of near identical terraced houses - window to window is probably around 40 feet.
- These houses are about 15 feet lower down than my house as they are on a road that is further down a steep hill.
Here comes the meat and drink of this journal...
Because of the positioning of me, my desk, the window, the hill and the other houses. I can see straight into the back bedroom of one of these houses: I can see everything in that room.
I've got new neighbours.
A very fit looking young blonde Polish woman has moved into that house. Her bedroom is the one that I can look straight into and see everything. She doesn't believe in curtains at windows

No I'm not going down the webcam route. It would be wrong of me to sell such material, not to mention illegal.
Binoculars? Surely I don't need them at that range!
Polish? I can hear her talking to her fellow housemates when they are in their back yard. I know what Polish sounds like.

To debate the morals of the thing, then - has she got curtains and doesn't use them, or has she just not got any curtains?
I know I shouldn't watch, but it's not my fault
GreyDesk Posted Sep 10, 2006
She has curtains, but doesn't use them.
Why? Do you think that's a defense in a court of law?
I know I shouldn't watch, but it's not my fault

Aye-Oop! She's early tonight.
The kit's coming off - short grey skirt, black strappy top, no bra.
Next will be the shower for 10 minutes.
I know I shouldn't watch, but it's not my fault
GreyDesk Posted Sep 10, 2006
She's back from the shower, and she's doing the hair drying thing.
Then comes the moisturising regime...!
I know I shouldn't watch, but it's not my fault

How visible is your room from hers, GD? Might be worthwhile concocting a convincing explanation of why you're watching, should she ever decide to take offence. I doubt that 'Because it's there' is going to cut much ice with the magistrates
